Inaugural Maiden 2019
Twenty-Four Carrots ML & Kyle Elliott win the first Maiden Championship held in 2019.
Twenty-Four Carrots ML (barn name Stir-Fry) caught the eye of Kyle Elliott and Jim Potter immediately when he walked out of the stall at Layne Laverett’s farm in Shelbyville. This outstanding colt was bred by Bruce Butler out of Morehead, Kentucky. He is sired by Lined with Cash. Upon seeing the first video Maggie Moore and Jim Leek quickly responded with “we’ll be there in 10 minutes..” They became his new owners.
Stir Fry quickly exceeded expectations in training with Elliott Performance Horses, and upon Kyle’s request to hold the colt back to debut in the very first Maiden Championship Maggie Moore quickly obliged. The excitement for this new class at The International was growing fast!
Kyle debuted Twenty-Four Carrots ML in a 14 horse Maiden Championship on Wednesday, July 31st at the 41st annual International. They walked away with a unanimous Maiden win! Later that year, with his owner Maggie & Stir Fry a World Championship at The Celebration. Throughout his junior horse and into his aged horse career, this talented colt remains a force in the show ring!
Twenty-Four Carrots ML is trained at home by his owner Maggie Moore in Christiana, Tennessee.
